Since 2009, more and more of you have put your trust in Pouce and Lina to provide your little angel with one of the most important gifts, which will accompany them from their return from the maternity, and will calm, entertain and decorate their cot. This purchase has an even more affective and symbolic dimension than other gifts; probably because it is inseparable from the baby's cot and your baby's first few months of sleep.
Pouce and Lina makes every effort to guarantee you a high quality Made in France in the manufacturing process and in the choice of raw materials.
We reveal here the secrets of making our creations ...
Everything begins in Pouce et Lina's workshop, with the creation and design of each product, which springs directly from the imagination of the founder and artistic director, Fanny MARIE.
Creation process of Pouce et Lina's musical mobiles
Then she confides the making of each element to the nimble fingers of Aurore, her seamstress. Most of the fabrics are from the French designer, France Duval Stalla, and certified Oekotex: they meet human ecological requirements. Then the meticulous work begins, the scissors snip, the jerky sound of the sewing machine resonates, fingers manipulate each piece carefully, the iron releases its fiery steam ... Some details like the eyes of the little rabbits are even embroidered by hand. Stars, unicorns or flamingos are then ready to be hung.
The little clouds make their own way. The pieces are cut a bit further away, in a Paris factory. They continue their journey to arrive at the hands of Nadine, Pouce et Lina's second seamstress, who assembles and shapes them, using to a high quality padding produced in France. All this is done in the neighboring village to Pouce et Lina's workshop.
The pretty elements of the mobiles are then assembled at Pouce et Lina's workshop and are prepared to decorate their support. The balance of each mobile is verified before it is slipped into a charming box entirely designed and illustrated by Chloé Bergerat's studio of graphic design, and printed in the local factory Posson Packaging, which practices eco-design. This gift box, thanks to its original design and illustration, can be recycled for storing small accessories in baby's bedroom. Everything is then packed in thick cardboard for postage.
